These terms are an agreement between you and BeCollabs (“we”, “us”), which operates QR Menu. They apply when you create an account or use the QR Menu service. Please read them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
QR Menu lets restaurants, cafés and shops publish a digital menu that guests open by scanning a QR code, and manage it from a dashboard: items, prices, photos and languages. Some plans also take orders. What each plan includes is shown on our pricing page.
If you only open a menu as a guest, you do not need an account. The restaurant is responsible for what its menu says.
Your account
- You must be at least 18, or have the authority to act for the business you sign up for.
- Give accurate details, and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for everything done with your account. If you think someone else has got into it, tell us at once at contact@qrmenu.se.
Plans and payment
- There is a free plan with limits, and paid plans billed monthly or yearly. The price and what is included are those shown on our pricing page when you choose a plan.
- You can pay in cash, by transfer or with Sham Cash. Message us and we will turn your plan on, normally the same day.
- A paid period is paid in advance. Once it has started we do not refund it, unless the law says we must or we were unable to provide the service.
- We may change prices or plans. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it reaches you.
Cancelling
- You can stop using QR Menu at any time. To stop a paid plan, tell us before your next period starts. It stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used to harm others, or stays unpaid after we have reminded you. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you time to put it right.
- When an account closes, its menu goes offline. If you want a copy of your content, ask us in good time.
Your content
- The menu, texts, prices, photos and logo you upload stay yours.
- You give us permission to store them, process them and show them to your guests, as far as the service needs.
- You are responsible for what you publish: that it is accurate and lawful, that you have the right to use the photos and texts, and that prices, ingredients and allergens are correct. Your guests rely on your menu, not on us.
- Orders, prices and dealings with your guests are between you and them.
Using the service properly
Do not use QR Menu to:
- break the law, or sell anything illegal;
- publish content that infringes other people’s rights, or that is abusive, hateful, threatening or misleading;
- pretend to be another person or business;
- collect other people’s information without their consent;
- upload harmful code, or try to break, overload, copy or reach parts of the service you are not meant to.
We may remove content that breaks these rules.
Our rights
QR Menu’s name, logo, software and design belong to us. While your account is active you may use the service for your own business. You may not copy it, resell it or pass it off as yours.
Your information
We use what you give us (your name, email, phone and business details) and how the service is used to run it, support you and improve it. We do not sell your information. If you collect information from your own guests, for example with check-in or orders, you are responsible for handling it lawfully.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep QR Menu running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or retire features, and we will give notice of changes that matter to you.
Liability
- The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost sales, profit or data, or for what happens because of the content of your menu.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, which is nothing on the free plan.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will tell you, for example by email or in your dashboard. If you keep using QR Menu after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Syria, and any dispute is for the competent courts of Syria. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest stays in force.
